Duke Lloyd Harold Buckle (1928-1982)

This is Duke Lloyd harold buckle(born 1928 died in 1982) which is my great grandfather, he is what you call a true Krio (European that settled in west africa).The buckle side of his family moved to the gold coast (ghana) in the 15th or 16th during the slave trade when africans was get sent to the americas, the buckle family are business men and sailors, you can read alot more about the buckle family at the national archives under the name buckle family papers.

And the other half of the family are french and english dukes that settled in sierra leone in the 1700s and lived there ever since.
